Keyboard Non-Functional

1. Check if keyboard is plugged in

  • If so, unplug and re-plug (verify)
  • Hit CapsLk Key to see if light turns on

2. If still non-functional: Reboot PC

3. Workaround: Verify if End user has another functional keyboard

4. If still non-functional: Verify Driver

Uninstall / Re-install Driver:
i. In widows search type: Device manager
ii. Go to device manager
iii. Go under keyboard
iv. Right Click and Hit remove / Uninstall
v. Go to Action
vi. Rescan for new hardware
vii. Proper driver should be discovered automatically

5. If necessary, Reboot PC
